Who we're looking for
We are keen to hear from people who share our commitment to developing and enabling the Society as a dynamic force in public policy making. With evaluation increasingly in the spotlight across UK government and beyond, we want to strengthen links across professional communities that use evaluative practice.
This is an exciting time for us, as we consolidate the progress made over recent years and work to expand our impact. We are seeking five trustees to be appointed to our board and we are especially keen to hear from individuals with expertise in:
- Finance, especially accounting and audit
- Business and enterprise
- Charity and voluntary sector including governance
- Law and risk management
- Marketing and/or communications
For appointed trustee roles, prior experience in evaluation is not essential, and you don’t need to be a member to apply—we welcome applications from individuals outside our membership with relevant skills and experience. If you have skills in these areas, or know someone in your professional or personal network who does, please consider applying or sharing this opportunity.
Then, from the five new trustee roles and the existing board, we need to fill three new roles:
- Vice Chair
- Deputy Treasurer
- Deputy Secretary
