Explore AI in Evaluation
Register your interest in our new AI Community of Practice
Artificial intelligence is opening up new possibilities for evaluation, while also raising important questions about how we work, learn and maintain quality in practice.
To support these conversations, we’re developing a new AI Community of Practice. It will bring together people with an interest in AI and evaluation to share experiences, explore practical applications and learn from one another. Rather than formal training, the Community will focus on peer learning, discussion and the exchange of ideas as AI continues to evolve.
What is a Community of Practice?
A Community of Practice brings together people with a shared interest to learn from one another. Through discussion, shared experiences and practical examples, members explore ideas, develop their understanding and support one another’s practice.
What might the Community explore?
People are exploring AI in different ways and at different stages. Some are already using AI in their work, while others are beginning to explore its potential. Whatever your experience, you’ll be welcome to join the conversation.
We’re keen for the Community to reflect the interests and experience of those who take part.
Topics could include:
- practical applications of AI in evaluation
- sharing experiences, tools and examples from practice
- real-world evaluation challenges involving AI
- understanding AI fundamentals and key concepts
- methods and professional practice
- ethical and responsible use of AI
- data protection, confidentiality and information governance
- networking and peer learning
- collaborative projects.
Who is it for?
If AI is becoming part of your work—or you’d simply like to understand it better—the AI Community of Practice is for you.
The Community will bring together people with different experiences and perspectives to learn from one another, share practical insights and explore how AI is influencing evaluation practice.
As we develop the Community, we’d like to understand what would be most valuable to those who are interested in taking part. By registering your interest and completing the short form below, you’ll help us develop the Community’s focus and be among the first to hear when it launches.
