“Evaluation for an Equitable Society” was the theme of the 11th Biennial Conference held by EES in Dublin in 2014. A publication bearing the same name has now been issued by Information Age Publishing. Sponsored by Michael Scriven’s Faster Forward Fund (http://fasterforwardfund.org/) the publication is mostly based on papers presented at the 11th Biennial Conference.
The new publication challenges evaluators worldwide to use their discipline to promote more equitable organizations, governments, and societies. Edited by Robert (‘Bob’) Picciotto and Stewart Donaldson this unique collection of essays symbolizes your Society’s long standing tradition of transatlantic cooperation with American evaluators.
The authors include leading evaluation theorists and practitioners including Michael Scriven, Jennifer Greene, Thomas Schwandt, Emily Gates, Sandra Mathison, Karen Kirkhart, Saville Kushner, Lois-Ellin Datta, Ernest House, Robert Stake and Patricia Rogers.
